Body Venture Resources Classroom and home activities are an integral part of the Body Venture program. Body Venture School Manual The Body Venture School Manual contains a wealth of information to assist schools that will be hosting Body Venture. Approximately 6 weeks before the scheduled Body Venture date in a local school, the school coordinator is sent a manual that provides information on getting ready to host the event, information for station presenters, teacher resources, and working with the media. In addition, schools receive a CD with forms such as classroom schedules, teacher memos, volunteer recruitment letters, sample thank you letters and a sample proclamation and newsletter. A giant door-size “Body Venture is coming on (date)” poster is mailed to each school prior to the visit. It attracts attention and makes everyone aware of the forthcoming Body Venture visit.
Student Activity Book Each student who participates in Body Venture receives a 24-page full-color book to take home and share with his/her family. The book contains information about each learning station in the Body Venture exhibit, activities, facts and riddles. The book also summarizes how students can practice Power Panther's message to: EAT SMART. PLAY HARD.
